Today was absolutely GORGEOUS. We had perfect weather. Started at 6:10; made it to the peak by 9 am, and didn’t want to leave the peak! We made some coffee, enjoyed donuts and just soaked up the perfect day. We met some PCT thru-hikers and got to hear about their journey along the way. 10/10 highly recommend!

This was my 10th new peak for this challenge, and I’m so excited to be getting close to hiking all 12. But I also really enjoyed feeling at peace and fully myself as I continue to embrace this new activity in my life. A year ago, I was a novice hiker and never dreamed of achieving this level of hiking…nonetheless..LOVING it. I’m grateful for this challenge as it motivated me to learn a new skill, get out there and explore our beautiful wilderness.
