This year we decided to include NorCal in our bucket list together with our yearly SoCal and San Diego 6-POP challenges.
This was our 1st hike for the year. This was a long hike with an exposed trail. It was a cool day to hike despite of the sun shining brightly. There were a lot of dry cow pies, but we only saw couple of cows. We only saw 4 hikers (1 party) and 4 bikers.

Permit was required through the East Bay Regional Park District. There is a parking fee but the day we hiked it said “No Fee Today”.

    Congrats on starting your challenges for the year ? good luck on the rest! I remember being a little afraid of the cows last time I went, they were a little too close for comfort lol ? ?
