Hiked with a group

Hiking with Christine, Laurelyn, and Jenny Penny.  Spent the night before summiting at Eagle’s Eyrie backpacking camp at Sunol.  In from Sunol to Eagle’s Eyrie was the hardest part of the hike (mostly due to the fully loaded pack, but the trail up to the backpacking camp is steep). Up early and hit the trail a little after 6:30.  A nice morning for a hike, cool but not cold and a little breezy.  Got to the peak in about 3 hours – so much easier hiking without a fully loaded backpack!  Picked up a couple of geocaches along the way and one at the peak.  Enjoyed the view for a while, took some pictures, and headed back to camp.  Had a snack and a rest, packed up, and headed back to the car.  Was tired by the time we reached the car, but feeling great today!  Up next, Mt. Sizer.
