The trail was in good condition. Some bugs but not too bad. I did use bug spray. It was a pretty cool day and the clouds helped a lot. We started at 5:15am and there was plenty of parking. There are bathrooms at the trailhead. There is also water flowing at High Creek Camp about 5.5 miles in.
