I started on an overcast trail and peaked on a mountain looking down on a giant blanket of clouds. (see photos) It was a tough little hike but the way down was much more challenging than the way up. I suggest bringing trekking poles unless you’re a masochist who might enjoy an 8 mile Russian Roulette game of “will I slip and scrape myself or will I role my ankle”. I made a cool new friend at the top, which is always a bonus. All an all, it was a perfect day.
