Camped in the State park with a troop of 10 boy scouts (including my son) and 3 other leaders.  This is my favorite winter hike with great views, an interesting trail with cables, and well used with lots of friendly people.  Beautiful day, though a little hazy.  Visibility was about 50 miles.  First of the 6 hikes.

After the hike, the troop (Tucson based 520) went up the freeway 10 miles to the Empire Cat facility where they were able to operate some of the heavy equipment there (one of the dads works for Empire).  It was a fantastic experience!
