Weather was perfect although sun was hot on the steepest section. Nice breeze on Blue Ridge.  We did the 13.5 mile out and back via Hobbs Road.  Took about 8 hours and we left it all on the trail!  That 1.4 mile section is steep, super steep and ridiculously steep!  Lots of beautiful lupines and other wildflowers.  So happy to check that one off!
