SoCal Hike #3 in 2025

This was a nice day to hike Mt Baldy.  It was cool when we started early in the morning.  Fortunately both sides of the Devils Backbone-Baldy Bowl loop were opened after the recent fires.  We hiked up the Devils Backbone side, and down the Baldy Bowl side.  That seemed harder than the opposite direction because it took longer to get to the top, and the downhill trek on the steep sections of the Bowl seem really slippery in the soft dirt.  it was pleasant at the summit, and a good hike overall.
