Trailhead Sierra Madre

Mt. Wilson was definitely a challenge! The terrain on the trail was a little bit of everything; smooth, rocky, sandy, lots of brush and woodsy. We even had to climb over a landslide area which was very narrow with a drop off on one side. The weather was perfect for the 4,200 feet elevation we climbed. I would consider the difficulty of this trail, strenuous!! It was great to have my “Sole Mates” there, as we encouraged each other every inch of the way!!
