Perfect morning to complete my first SoCal Peak for 2022. Temps were perfect, 40 degrees at the start at about 7am and up to around 70 degrees when I finished at about 11am. There wasn’t a soul on the trail as I made my way up to the summit. Skies were clear blue, and the views today were spectacular. I didn’t see another hiker until the final 2 miles of my descent. Passed a group of 4 hikers on their way up and one solo hiker at about the 1-mile mark. The trail itself was a little damp with a few muddy spots, but nothing severe.
