Strawberry peak with Hiking for Heros

***marked as trail in good condition, but it should be noted that some scrambling is required to get to the summit.

today was a beautiful day and I get to hike with a small group Freon Hiking 4 Heroes. We all social distanced and wore masks as needed. One of us suffered a bee sting at the top.  Overall the bugs weren’t too bad, but it was obvious they were starting to come out. LOTS of lizards.

someone lost a bearded dragon on the trail named luke, and they posted a lot of signage.  If you go, keep an eye out. Poor thing, I’m sure he is long gone.

I always forget how many false summits there are
