Sunday on San Jacinto

Sunday on San Jacinto was PERFECT. gorgeous weather the whole day. We got to the parking lot by 730 and walked in to get tickets for the 8 am tram. We started alongside a good group of other hikers but quickly found out pace and were on our individual way. We passed backpackers on their way out while heading up. At the summit we stopped for lunch, pictures and a rest. We chatted with other hikers at the summit before heading back down. All in all we did it in 6 hours with 5 hours of moving time. The last stretch up the sidewalk to the visitor center was the hardest part ???? but the ride down the tram with rock music was a fun celebration to the end of a perfect hike.
