This is my second time to hike at Black Mountain! We started at 7:15am and finished at 12:30pm for a 11.5 mile hike. The last part of the trail is rocky and steep; hiking poles would be a big help! Overall, the hike is not too strenuous to me and I am glad that I completed 50 percent of the challenger hike!
