Sunrise At Wilson Mountain

We were glad we showed up early, as parking was fairly limited. The morning light on the beautiful red rocks was a serious treat. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. We did use All Trails to double check a couple places, the route up is, obviously, pretty steep in places…we have to summit after all;) The climbing was made lovely by all the beautiful views. We hardly saw anyone, which made this the perfect day. We opted to go to the end, at the North Canyon viewpoint, to rack up more miles for the day. It was right at 12 miles. Onward to Bear Mountain!
