Sunrise on Rose Peak

Final peak for our team “Dusty Hiking Boots”! This was a tough hike with steep verticals. We enjoyed stopping for lunch at Schleipper Rock and spending the night at Maggie’s Half Acre camp. An almost full moon lit our campsite and we spent our evening doing yoga and using a stargazing app to identify constellations. Weather was almost warm. We got up early to summit Rose Peak and enjoyed the early morning light up there. Look for a geocache in an ammo box with the 6-pack challenge sticker on it. Signed the log.

This was the perfect way to end our challenge. A celebratory overnight with fabulous weather way into November.
