Perfect weather for a sunrise hike but didn’t reach the peak before sunrise. Trail isn’t open until 5:27a and the sun rose 5:43a this morning…
This is a very nice trail with easy parking at the Sunrise Peak trailhead and cold water drinking fountain at the start. It’s a typical rocky desert mountain hike, gradual ascent to the top and multiple trail heads feeding to the peak. Fantastic views at the top. Will definitely do this again.
