Sunrise Start to a Challenge

Due to waking up late, I decided to cancel my hike to Camelback and Piestewa Peaks and decided to head to Sunrise Peak as it would be relatively easier to find a parking at one of the trailhead. In order to be sure I had ample parking, I decided to do the hike from the Lost Dog Wash Trailhead. There were quite a number of people out on the trail on this day. However for the most part, I was by myself most of the time. The weather was good, although it got a little windy closer to the summit. Headed up to the summit, took a break, and then headed back. A good start to the Arizona Winter Challenge.
