This is a beautiful trail. It was very challenging, I’m not entirely sure if it was because it was hot or I was trying to keep up with a hiking partner in her 20’s but I was winded from Eagle Peak to North Peak Trail on Prospector’s Gap. I just couldn’t catch my breath. Ended up having to go a lot slower than I normally do. Either way made it to the top and summited! Garmin tracked 14.7 mi. 4021ft of elevation gain. On to the next!
Great shot on the rock with the clouds down below! The weirdest thing about Mt Diablo is the “summit” being indoors. :p
