The one that almost got away

Everyone had said this was a hard one, I believe every word now. It was sunny and hot, the terrain is full of mud, run off water, loose rocks, and boulders. You go up and down and around, over and over again.  My hiking buddy questioned if she could make it to the summit and I questioned if I could make it back to the car. My best advice is to make sure you stay hydrated! We made it, just sunburned and a little tired.
