My second peak of the challenge did not disappoint. It was a cool foggy day most of the way through. The trail was mostly in great condition with the exception of one large trail obstruction (see picture). I chose to go straight through and just of the left of where the trail would be. Seemed to be the easiest way to go. There are “owl” trail markers on the trees to guide you through even though the trail is very easy to follow and there is an unnecessary Cairn right on trail

I chose to take the clockwise route (shorter route to the Lollipop Loop high point). Clockwise was .8 miles up and counterclockwise was 1.6 miles up. Not much of a view on trail today since it was very foggy. And not a soul on trail. Took a side trip on my descent to the waterfall, but there was no water following.

I recorded a total of 8.3 miles and 2,275 feet in total elevation gain.
