Three’s A Charm (Peak 1)

Our goal today (January 1, 2024) was to complete 3 peaks of the Arizona 2024 Six Pack of Peaks Winter Challenge.
Peak 1
We started the day at about 8am at the Piestewa Peak Summit Trail. We hiked 3 miles and had 1,257 feet in elevation gain in 1 hour 36 minutes.
Peak 2
From there we headed over to Echo Canyon Trailhead and started our hike up to Camelback Mountain at 10:32am. We hiked 4.12 miles and had 1,444 feet in elevation gain in 2 hours 7 minutes.
Peak 3
After Camelback, we headed over to the Sunrise Peak Trail to hike up to Sunrise Peak. We began this hike at 1:57pm. We hiked 4.5 miles and had 1,345 feet in elevation gain in 2 hours.
Our totals for the day were three peaks totaling 11.62 miles with 4,046 feet in elevation gain in 5 hours 43 minutes.
