Two For The Road! Bonus Peak

Today, January 3, 2024, began at 8:13 am at the Kings Canyon Trailhead where we completed the clockwise loop of Wasson Peak. This was a very straight forward hike. We ended this hike with 8 miles and 2,041 feet in elevation gain in 2 hours 54 minutes.

After making our way down, we headed of to our final peak for the day, Picacho Peak. Wow! What a great climb this was. Only 1.5 miles to the summit with 1,913 feet in elevation gain. Then another 1.5 miles back down or should I say down and up then down again! ???? ???? Three miles 1,913 in elevation gain in 1 hour 43 minutes.
