Umunhum Morning

A nice stroll in the woods!  Very easy grade; wish I could have started sooner to catch the sunrise at the top, but the gates opened at 7, alas!  Also wish I had a better camera- there was a fantastic shot of the Umunhum tower with the nearly-full moon right over top of it, framed by trees along the trail, but my phone camera is…a phone camera 🙂

Also, this was my first hike of the six for the NorCal Six-Pack; for the SoCal Six-Pack in 2020 (when I did all 18), when I did the “Original Six”, I paired a beer with each summit.  I thought about doing that with NorCal beers, but not being from around the area, and being on something of a time crunch (I had only a week off, as a teacher, for Thanksgiving Break), I decided to just have the same beer on each of the six- the delicious low-carb beer from my nostalgic favorite from the East Coast, Yuengling “Flight”.
