Perfect weather for a hike. And I see they have cleaned up the cube. Looks very presentable now. And it’s not fenced off.

The drive up was eventful… never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined seeing a bald eagle standing on the side of the road. But there it was… on Hicks Rd only a few miles from the parking area. Unmistakable profile, color, and size. ???? I got to within 20 or 30 yards before he spread his wings and took off. That made the painful drive worthwhile all by itself. ????
