Trail was pretty well maintained, some overgrowth of buckthorn once you start the descend from Pinos to Sawmill. There were a few areas where gnats were annoying. A lot of red/some white berries on the bushes. Unfortunately Sawmill’s peak doesn’t have a wooden sign like Mt. Pinos, but does have a cool rock structure. My husband carried our 7 month baby in a Osprey baby carrier backpack and the weather was pretty nice. It did get hotter around 11. We started at 8:09 and finished at 11:30.
