Wandering into the Mystic Mountains

“He found himself wondering at times, especially in the autumn, about the wild lands, and strange visions of mountains . . .” J.R.R. Tolkien.   Incredible autumn hike.  Started out under low clouds and after making it through the maze to the trailhead was quickly rewarded with views under mystical clouds, fall colors, cool breeze and an occasional encounter with very happy hikers marveling at the journey to High Point.
