Great hike, but very windy. Were planning on going up the Ski Hut route and then down the backbone, but decided the exposure was a bit too much. Elected to go back the Ski Hut route. Oh well, Top of the Notch will have to wait a few more weeks. We did the whole hike in under 5 hours, including breaks. We also were not pushing too much. Felt strong, but am a little sore today. Looking forward to my next challenge.
