Winter wonderland on Monadnock

Had a beautiful blue bird day on Monadnock. Temps were in single digits. Trail conditions were great. Definitely recommend spikes or crampons above tree line. Still had crunchy snow, no need for snowshoes( trail had already been broken in). Started at HQ. Went up white dot and crossed over to connect with Spellman trail and up to summit. Luckily was not super windy. Ate my nice hot soup, with warm tea. Had a few great chats with some fellow hikers on summit. Enjoyed the great views, and made my way back down white dot to finish. Such a great mountain!?
