This was a tough one – lots of elevation gain. The views were amazing – the clouds were somewhat present which prevented clear viewing at all times but when they cleared we saw such beautiful vistas. Mr. San Jacinto, Hot Springs Mountain, Cahuilla Mountain, and the local Palomar Observatory were all visible. We saw wildlife – a lizard, blue bird, squirrels, and a beautiful red beetle. All in all, an amazing trip’
