Climb Mount Kilimanjaro with Us This January
Are you ready to take your hiking to the next level—literally?
This January, I’m taking a group of adventure seekers to the roof of Africa: Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain on the continent at 19,341 feet. It’s the kind of bucket-list experience that changes you—and I’d love for you to join us.
Why Kilimanjaro?
Kilimanjaro is one of the Seven Summits, but unlike most major peaks, it doesn’t require technical climbing skills. That said, this isn’t a walk in the park—it’s a challenging, multi-day trek through five distinct climate zones. But if you’ve tackled a few of the tougher peaks in the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge, you’re already well on your way to being prepared.
We’ll be hiking the Machame Route, known for its stunning scenery and strong success rate for summit attempts. It’s demanding, but incredibly rewarding—and you won’t be doing it alone.
Trip Details
- Dates: January 17–25, 2026
- Route: Machame Route (7-day trek)
- What’s Included:
- Professional guides and porters
- Accommodations and all meals during the trek
- Transportation within Tanzania
- Group camaraderie you won’t find anywhere else
You’ll be hiking alongside fellow Social Hikers and Six-Pack of Peaks Challengers, so you’ll start the journey with a shared connection—and likely leave with lifelong friendships.
What to Expect
You’ll need to be in good hiking shape—this is a strenuous trek at high elevation—but you don’t need mountaineering experience. We strongly recommend arriving in Tanzania at least a day early to adjust to the time zone and begin acclimating.
