Frequently Asked Questions

  • A 25% deposit is required to reserve your space. This is fully refundable up until the trip is confirmed. The trip is confirmed when we have eight or more people registered.
  • The balance can be paid over time, but the full amount is due 90 days before the trip.
  • We will be “adventuring hard” on some days, and easy on others. But spending each night in a 4-star hotel.
  • We will be there at the end of summer in the southern hemisphere. The average high temperatures are in the high 50s to low 60s. Average low temperatures in the high 30s to the low 40s — perfect hiking weather!
  • All lodging is double-occupancy.

    1. Hi Ruth! When you go to sign-up, you’ll be presented with the option and cost for single occupancy. You’re not committed until you place your deposit.

  4. Good afternoon everyone! Recently booked a Patagonia trip for myself and a lady that I am dating. Was wondering if anyone has already booked flights and could make recommendations? Hoping to use the same airline and flight numbers as the other trekkers for this trip. Thank you, Rod

    1. There are 16 of us. We have a private group for the trip. Head to the groups and look for Patagonia. You’ll be able to see all the travelers.

My wife and I just came back from Patagonia- Argentina side and went to El Calafate Glacier Perito Moreno and to El Chalten where we hiked to Laguna Torre at the foot of Certo Torre and Laguna de los Tres trail at the foot of Fitz Roy ad well as Laguna Capri and Lagina Azul and Verde at the Los Cohiues private reserve; a less know beautiful area of El Chalten. I will be happy to share pictures, tip and ideas from my trip and get you even more pumped ip and excited about this amazing area. Feel free to ask me questions or can even organize a zoom. Believe me; it will be an unforgettable trip!!
