Homepage Forums Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge™ Q&A CO Finishers List

  • Posted by Tony on October 9, 2023 at 8:46 pm

Hi Guys I was just wondering if the list updates with the Spicy and All 12. I completed thec12 2 years running and was also wondering if there’s plans to add different mountains in Colorado next year?

Honestly with the parking issues on Grays and Torreys those need to be replaced anyway in my opinion

I hear you. It’s definitely early bird gets the worm there. I l love Guyot on the list as the most interesting/ favorite. Pikes and Rocky can go straight to hell and Bergen is barley just ok. We’ve got lots of hills here so I’m hopeful that changes are coming.

Douglas and Tony— any peaks you’d like to nominate?

      Hi @Jeff

I’d swap Rocky Mountain Peak for Buffalo Mountain in Summit or Sopris in Glenwood Springs.

I’d swap Pikes Peak for Savage or Pacific both near Leadville.

I’d swap Sherman for La Plata or Humboldt.

And I’d swap Bergen for Long Scraggy Peak.

I’d say shavano and tabaguache if you wanna keep a doable double summit. Mt sniktau or grizzly are just off 170 on Loveland pass
