Intro
Hi everyone,
I have enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, Mtn biking, and backpacking my whole life. Been busy raising kids and playing sports (soccer, running, cycling, triathlons, weightlifting, hockey, and roller derby) but have now found myself wanting to spend more time on the trails on foot.
The time to think and be one with nature is priceless.
I am currently planning to section hike the San Diego County portion of the PCT. Probably in at least 3-4 sections.

Hiking the PCT is an awesome goal. I’ve done sections of it, but only short parts in San Diego County.
My friend Shawnte has a great book on section hiking the southern section of the PCT. It includes SD County (duh) but goes all the way up to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite.
