Just starting my AZ challenge!
Going to try and get the Sedona hikes done first, I waited to long and it’s getting hot!!!
Anyone have pro tips for beating the heat? I will for sure start early!

One suggestion I’d make is to review the latest hike logs from the challenge. You can also ask questions directly on the hike logs to get detailed advice based on current conditions.

Hey Mark!
The Sedona hikes will definitely be the hottest ones you do. I recommend grabbing a headlamp and hitting the trail early. If you can get up before the sun does, you’ll have a lot of relief.
With Wilson Mountain specifically, use the North Wilson trail. LOTS more tree coverage and shade.
