Hello all! Hiking San Bernardino tomorrow and was wondering if there was any water source flowing? I usually take about 4 Liters, but it will be warm tomorrow. Thinking if I had opportunity for more water I should take my filter.

    Hi Courtney!

Hope this isn't too late. Last time I hiked San Bernardino was back in September, which is late in the season and there was still water at Limber Pine spring (which is actually at a turn on the last switchback BEFORE Limber Pine Camp). Normally there is still water running (trickling) there through July at least. Since there was still some snow at the top on May 7th, it's a safe bet that there's water available there.

I was there May 18, 2018. There is water at the spring past limber pine.

I just finished an overnight at LPB, the spring is extremely low…not sure about the others or how long to expect this one to stay active. I took 4 liters and stilled filtered 3 more for cooking and drinking.
