    ROLL CALL!

We want to know what challenges YOU are planning to tackle in 2026.

Obviously, which of the regional Six-Pack of Peaks Challenges you plan to tackle, but also other challenges (hiking or otherwise).

Drop a reply and let us know!

Central Oregon! I’ve had my eye on South Sister for awhile.

Four of us completed the SoCal six peaks (plus one bonus peak) in 2018. Life got in the way since then (and time flew!) Now it is time to get back to it! San Diego, here we come!

This year I’d love to actually make it up some peaks !! Last year I focused on getting more hiking experience and conditioning and followed along here for inspiration. I did the West Highland Way which was terrific and really built my confidence. This year I’d like to hit Sutton, Strawberry and Baldy at least. Next big walk abroad is the Skye Trail in 2027 – I’ll need some peaks under my belt to get there!

Starting off this year with doing one peak from each of six different challenges. So far I done one from each of these three, the Bay Area, Central Coast, and SoCal. Now I’m looking to do one from each of these, San Diego, Arizona Winter, and Nevada.

In addition, I’m hoping to complete five different challenges this year, New Mexico, NorCal, Central Oregon, PNW, and the Appalachian.

@Kimberly we are looking to host a Central Oregon Group Hike to complete that challenge in July. If you’re interested.

I’m doing the Bay Area for my first time! I’m hiking with my husband and we signed up yesterday and hiked our first peak!

I’ve lost almost 150 pounds and I’m happy to be climbing mountains and stronger than ever!

I’ve completed San Diego 2X’s and So Cal once. For 2026, I’d like to mix and match my peaks between these 2 regions… I’ll hike El Cajon, Corte, Volcan, Sitton, San Jacinto (my fav) and maybe this is the year for Baldy!!! And who knows maybe I’ll travel up to Nevada and hit up a peak in that area! The sky’s the limit as they say… 😀

    Arizona Winter 2026!!

    HNY Jeff!

Thank you for the new challenges!

I logged a hike to the Fremont Saddle on Jan. 11, 2026 but it didn’t show up and I didn’t see an acknowledgment earning the badge. Can you please check to see if it is something I did incorrectly?

Also, are you sending challenger badges for this Arizona Winter challenge?

Please advise when you are able.

    Thank you,

    Randy

This year I definitely plan on conquering Mount Diablo. I’ve said that the past two years, but I plan on making that my first peak this year.

Conquering the Arizona Winter challenge with my 11 year old daughter. She asked for this to be her Christmas gift this last year. We have conquered that by finishing 7 of the peaks so far (she wants to do all 9). Site seems to have glitched up at the moment and hasn’t given us the completed badge. My daughter is having me check everyday. She is so excited to see it.
