It was our first time hiking in the Superstition Mountains. Very beautiful, rugged and majestic scenery!
The trail was easy to navigate through Peralta Canyon. There were a few points crossing over water, but it was easy to get through those spots without getting wet. With the rain in Arizona this past season, there was lots of growth and green for the desert.
On the way back we decided to take the Barks Canyon route. That was more difficult with some steep areas to navigate. If you want to do that loop, I recommend going up that way and back through Peralta Canyon.
