I started from Trabuco Creek – Joplin Trail – Santiago Peak, Alltrails says 16.5 miles, but my record is 17.4miles.

It was pebbly and slippery, with a very steep slope first 1 mile, after that it was nice trail.

I saw ice on the side of the road around 5 miles, then the amount of snow increased and the road was covered with ice half of Joplin.

After marge Main drive Rd, road is covered with fresh snow. The view is amazing at the peak, I could see Mt. Gorgonio.

    1. Sorry I just found your comment. Santiago peak had snow a few times last winter. I happened to choose that rare snowy day.
