We started the hike a little before 7A. The weather was cool for most of the hike and it was a beautiful day. There are some areas with lots of bees. We got followed by bees a few times throughout our trip. The flies were most annoying in the morning at the beginning of the hike. Very in your face. It seemed like they were more apparent while we were close to the river. As we got closer to the peak, there were some large logs here and there that we had to climb over.
