Way too much snow for this California hiker! Beautiful views & scenery, but definitely lots of snow in the ground. At times, my Trekking poles were in 2-3 ft of snow, then the ground was bare. Used my All Trails app to keep me on track. The hike seemed a piece of cake compared to staying on the trail. Totally worth it though 🙂

Wow! Did you have traction for the snow?
No I did not….didn’t know there was that much snow. Half the trail was clear/dry and the other half packed with snow. Looks like the last 3 peaks still have snow so I will have to come back in September to finish the challenge.
Good idea! I’ll be organizing some group hikes up these during the summer, too!
