First time to Ontario Peak, but this is third time I started from Icehouse Canyon Trailhead. Sunrise is 6:30am, so we tried to start that time, the parking was already packed…. I did street parking.
The weather was perfect for hiking, not too hot, not too cold. The trail was not hard, enjoyable to hike, also nice view from the summit.
