we started our hike at 5a and it was CHILLY! Good thing we layered up and brought warmers but even so, we felt the chill.

this one is really a leisurely hike with no huge inclines or an abundance of switchbacks. The river is beautiful and the most crystal clear water. The views along the way were amazing and it was the perfect day for a hike to Ontario Peak. Sunny and while the temp was cool, it was manageable and it warmed up considerably on the way back.

we had a congratulatory lunch of instant ramen at the summit to commemorate the completion of the challenge 😁

this is prob my favorite out of the 6 we did.
we chose a couple alternative peaks due to time constraints and proximity. We ended up doing the following (in order of preference):

Ontario Peak
Strawberry Peak

Cucamonga Peak
San Bernardino

Mt Wilson
Mt Baldy
