How did the pup do with the pumice? I’m heading there this weekend and was debating whether or not to bring my dogs.
Hi Jeff,
In answer to your question about my pup and the pumice. She did ok until the last mile down. We checked her paws and they were slightly red, not bloody. I carried her until we got out of the pumice, which she didn’t like, lol! I massaged her feet with olive oil when we got home. She was ready to hike again the next day! This weather has been amazing! Go get your hike on!
