Day two in Arizona. I got an early start today as rain was forecast for the afternoon. A few cars in the parking lot with plenty of room left. Hiking solo on a cold windy morning. About a mile and a half into the hike I ran into a javelina on the trail. It snorted a few times and took off running. Continued up the trail. As I started up the last mile the wind became very strong and cold. I thought briefly about turning back but am glad I kept at it as it let up after a while. What’s a little cold. Spent a few minutes at the top where I ran into the first people I had seen the entire hike. They submitted just behind me. I headed down meeting quite a few on their way up. A really nice hike.
