This was a great hike but felt like forever. It's pretty awesome starting down at the trail head and then as you hike to the summit, you are surrounded by mountain walls on both sides. There is even small areas of covered tree canopies which I find awesome since most of the landscape here in the Valley seems to be wide open. At the top, the view is pretty as you get a glance of Weaver's Needle and The Lonesome Tree. When you think you can't go any further, you can actually keep moving west which will lead you to The Lonesome Tree and a closer view of the Needle. Enjoyable hike all around. Would definitely do it again.
