Had a great time today hiking with my cousin, Roxy!

It was a bit cold and sprinkling during the first half of our hike, once we reached the summit it was cold and windy, but the rain had gone away. The trail was clear and easy to navigate, just a few muddy patches along the way. The hike down was fast, I think I was motivated by the picnic lunch that was waiting for us in my car. Lol

It was a beautiful hike and because of the rain, everything was especially green and flourishing. We heard all types of birds and every so often, we could hear the trickling water streaming down the mountain. A few local critters would come across the path to say Hi, like a blue jay and chipmunk.

It was a beautiful day and a great way to start our Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge!

Mt. Umunhum, done!

  1. Nice way to start the challenge indeed! So cool that you were able to see a few critters as well, that’s always fun 🙂 A picnic lunch is always a great motivational tool, and there are definitely great views to be had at any point on this trail! Nice job 🙂
