#6 Completed!!

We started just before 6:00am and it was already 64°. We knew we were in for a hot day. We were prepared for it. The hike to the saddle was dappled with wildflowers here and there which was delightful. The cool babbling creek never disappoints. The birds were singing so beautifully. Everything I love about being out there. After the saddle we took the trail to Kelly Camp and Ontario Peak. This was a new one for us. I thoroughly enjoyed the views, sights and smells. It was pretty hot by then without much of a breeze. We saw about 3 places we thought could be the peak, but NOPE! Keep going. We finally got there and were very pleased. Cool breezes, gorgeous views, plenty of shade and comfy places to rest.
