This trail made me wish I had taken up hiking while in college at UofA; in my 4 years living in Tucson, I had no idea this was there. I'm so thankful for this challenge for opening my eyes to the unexplored beauty around me! Toward the top the gnats and flies were a little annoying but not overbearing. The trailmarkers around the beginning of the hike were not as straightforward as one would hope, and we found ourselves guessing which one of three paths to take.
