My hike began at 9:25 am on what was a beautiful summer day.  The temperature was in the low 60s which is perfect for hiking.  This was a solo hike for me and I felt comfortable as there were so many other hikers headed up.  I went up the CCC Road to the Maple Ridge Trail up to the Forehead.  For this being the tallest Mountain in the State I found the hike to be fairly easy.  I was a challenge but not hard.  There were times of the morning where the sun came out and i could get some long distance (clear) photos, but other times it was cloudy and dewy.  It was cloud cover at the top so i could video it but not get a great photo.  It would be nice if there was a sign like at the Forehead.

I came down the Sunset Trail which pose its challenges.

This is a beautiful hike and would do it again on a clearer day to enjoy the views.
