I started this hike late. Around 5:45pm, it took me 3 hours to complete. I ended around 9:20pm. I had a headlamp with me. I didn’t plan to take that long, but I did end up hiking and the dark. A couple of fellow hikers were ahead of me and they looked out for me even waiting to make sure I made it to the parking lot before the left. I was about 5-10 minutes behind them the whole way down. There were about 3 fallen trees obstructing the trail but they were just a slight inconvenience.

  1. Sunset hikes can be so beautiful! I bet the parking lot was less crowded, too. Glad you came prepared for darkness.
